In July 2026, the United States will commemorate 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This national milestone, known as America 250, is a chance for communities across the country to reflect on our shared history, celebrate the people and places that shaped us, and look ahead to the future we are building together.

Here in Evesham, that history is closer than we may realize.

To help celebrate America 250 locally, the Evesham Education Foundation is inviting current Evesham Township School District students to participate in our America 250 Coloring Contest.

This year’s coloring sheet features the John Inskeep House, a historic Evesham landmark with roots dating back to the 1700s. The oldest existing portion of the John Inskeep Homestead was built around 1771. Over time, the house was altered and enlarged, becoming a lasting reminder of Evesham’s early history and the community that grew into Marlton.

Today, the Evesham Historical Society helps preserve and share this local history, including the John Inskeep House. As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we can also celebrate the history right here in our own community.

Now it’s the students’ turn to bring Evesham history to life — with color, creativity, and imagination.

Students may color the John Inskeep House realistically, patriotically, or in their own creative style. We can’t wait to see Evesham history through their eyes!

How to Enter

  1. Download and print the coloring sheet. OR visit us at Marlton Day to pick up a copy.
  2. Color it your way — realistic, patriotic, creative, or completely imaginative.
  3. Have a parent or guardian upload a photo or scan of the finished artwork by June 30, 2026.

This contest is open to current Evesham Township School District students only.
