The start of a new school year is an exciting time — but it can also be hectic. To help families in Evesham ease into the transition, we’ve rounded up a few simple steps that make a big difference:

1. Organize school supplies early.
Whether you shop during sales or pick up extras from last year, having supplies ready reduces stress. Check your child’s supply list to make sure you have everything needed.

2. Re-establish school-year routines.
Shift bedtimes and wake-up times gradually in the week or two before school starts to help kids adjust.

3. Create a homework-ready space.
Set up a quiet spot for studying — stocked with pencils, paper, and a charger for devices.

4. Talk about goals and expectations.
Spend a few minutes discussing what your child hopes to learn and achieve this year.

5. Get involved.
Join your school’s PTO/PTA, volunteer at events, or consider supporting EEF programs that enrich student learning.

EEF is proud to help our students start each school year with opportunities to learn, explore, and succeed — thanks to the generosity of our community. Learn more about how EEF supports Evesham students.
