Making a Difference, One Ticket at a Time: Why I Volunteered for the Evesham Education Foundation
April 1, 2025
➡️What is your connection to the Evesham community?
💬My connection to the Evesham community is that I live here in town, and I also work here in town. I have lived here for probably close to 20 years at this point.

➡️Why did you get involved with the Evesham Education Foundation?
💬The reason I got involved with the Evesham Education Foundation was predominantly because my daughter was nearing the age of getting into school. She was actually in the Teddy Bear Academy at the time. I had recently heard about the budget cuts the state had imposed on the school district and wanted to get involved. I was asked to join the golf committee, so the golf event was the first event that I participated in. From there, my involvement has just grown.

➡️What’s your favorite part about being part of this organization?
💬My favorite part of being part of this organization is that I get to see the difference we are making. There are a lot of children involved in these programs—some 300 to 400 kids that we directly impact each year for various different reasons. Some of it is for gifted and talented students; others are kids who need social readiness, assistance, and counseling. All of these programs are certainly very important. The reason why the organization exists is to keep these programs alive. If it weren’t for the funding we provide, many of them would be gone.

➡️What’s a fun fact about you that people might not know?
💬A fun fact about me is that I am an avid bowler. I’ve been bowling since I was probably 11 or 12 years old. I do have multiple perfect games. People who aren’t involved in the bowling community might not necessarily know that.

👏Thank you for everything you do for our students!
