John Cipollone, our former President & current VP of Finance, has been volunteering with EEF for nearly 30 years! We sat down with him to learn more about his experience and what has inspired him to give back for all these years.

➡️ What's your connection to the Evesham community? Why did you get involved with EEF?

💬 I moved to Marlton in 1980. In 1995, a neighbor who was involved with the Foundation asked if I would volunteer for their golf tournament fundraiser. Having children who would soon be entering the school district, I felt it was important to get involved. After that event, I was invited to join the board, and I’ve been a part of the Foundation ever since. I’ve always worked in Marlton as a financial advisor, and even after moving to Medford, my connection to the community remained strong.
➡️ What’s your favorite part about being involved with the foundation?

💬 My favorite part is knowing that the funds we raise directly impact students in the Evesham Township School District. I’ve seen firsthand how our efforts make a difference - whether it's providing classroom whiteboards, funding uniforms for sports teams, supporting STEM projects, or giving young students a head start through our CAPS program. Hearing from parents and teachers about how our programs have helped their children is incredibly rewarding.

➡️ If you could describe your volunteer experience in three words, what would they be?

💬 Gratitude, camaraderie, and fun. Gratitude from the students, parents, teachers, and staff who benefit from our efforts; camaraderie among the dedicated individuals on the board; and fun because we truly enjoy working together on these fundraising projects.

➡️ What’s one fun fact about you that people might not know?

💬 I played trumpet in a rock band in high school! We even made it on TV multiple times. We played music for all occasions and made just enough money to keep gas in my tank.

👏 Thank you, John, for many years of dedication to the Evesham Education Foundation and for making a lasting impact on the students in our community!
